Abstract: This study is designed to generate information from a set of community case studies to understand the current state of awareness and how communities seek, perceive, and process information with respect to dams and levees. This information will be collected during virtual interviews and will provide the USACE Dam and Levee Safety Programs with qualitative evidence that can inform improvements to communications with key stakeholders and local populations.
