Abstract: The Safety Standard for Omnidirectional Citizens Band Base Station Antennas established requirements to reduce risks of death injury resulting from accidental contact of a CB base station antenna with overhead power lines. Certification regulations require manufacturers, importers, and private labelers of those antennas to test their products for compliance with the standard and to maintain records of testing.
