The agency is reminded that the previous terms of clearance to this information collection required engaging with OMB to discuss opportunities for reducing duplicative aspects of this form through both technological and policy improvements.
No later than six months after approval of this information collection, the agency will convene at least one 30 minute meeting with AILA and OMB to discuss AILA's 2019 public comments on this information collection and whether or not there are opportunities for reducing burden associated with this or other related information collections.
The terms of clearance from 2019 remain in effect. No later than three months after the meeting hosted between OMB, the agency, and AILA, the agency will submit a memorandum to OMB detailing the resource and technical requirements for incorporating this or other related information collections in to the Consular Electronic Application Center. The agency will also address each point of feedback raised in the 2019 public comment and any additional ones raised in the meeting and enumerate the specific regulatory, statutory, resource, or technological reasons why the commenter's suggestion is infeasible.
The agency is also instructed to correct the Supporting Statement A to re-include missing question prompt 13.
