The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) respectfully requests OMBâs review and renewal of a currently approved collection known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act â Application for Broadband Grant Programs. Renewal would allow the agency to continue to meet statutory deadlines and use forms that provide structured questions and guidance concerning the kind of discrete and structured data required for successful broadband grant applications. The forms create greater efficiencies within the NTIA grant program, offering applicants greater opportunities for meaningful participation in the Broadband programs than they would otherwise enjoy while lessening overall application review burdens.

Changes in estimates reflect the addition of a new TBCP application form and a list of questions to be asked of Tribal applicants for the Digital Equity program. Moreover, burden estimates were adjusted to more accurately reflect form completion times and a recent upward trend in the number of applications received by the agency.
