Abstract: On JanuaryOn January 3, 2022, we received OMB approval for the Study of Disability Services Coordinators and Inclusion in Head Start (OMB #0970-0585) and have since had three change requests approved to refine materials based on experiences in the field. For Phase 2 of the study, the respondent pool was intended to be comprised of Disability Services Coordinators (DSCs) who were identified by directors in the Phase 1 Survey. The Phase 2 DSC Survey has now been released to all DSCs who were identified in Phase 1. We are using follow-up emails and phone calls to prompt response as noted in Supporting Statement B. Through phone call prompts we have found programs where the identified DSC has been replaced and anticipate this be the case at more programs as we continue data collection. For programs where a DSC who was identified in Phase 1 is no longer with the program, we would like to ask programs, in the phone follow-up prompt, for the name and contact information for the replacement/new DSCs. As such, we have updated the supporting statements to reflect this change and have added a phone follow-up prompt to request this information.
