Short Statement: There is a decrease in the number of respondents, responses, and burden hours. The reason for the decreases is that applications may now be submitted through an electronic portal in addition to through postal mail and through email. There were two applications, one for high school students and one for college students. There is now one application for all applicants. Additionally, to align with hiring and conversion authorities, agencies must ensure there is a full-time position available and provide a description of the training component a scholarship recipient will engage, prior to recruitment for the position.
