Between August 2015 and August 2022, OMB has approved several information collection instruments, procedures, and supporting materials in support of the HPOG 2.0 National and Tribal Evaluation. Materials in support of the National Evaluation Impact Study include baseline data collection from study participants, and Short-Term and Intermediate Follow-Up Surveys, an additional Short-Term Survey for a cohort of participants enrolled after the onset of COVID-19. Most recently, in August 2022, OMB approved the HPOG 2.0 Long-Term Survey (LTS) and supporting materials.
Since approval, the study team has identified some new questions would improve the LTS (Instruments 21 and 21a). Some of these questions would allow for better reconciliation between survey-reported and National Directory of New Hires (NDNH)-reported earnings, and others would strengthen our measurement of nonpecuniary outcomes. The additional questions remain within the scope of the described purpose and use of the HPOG 2.0 LTS data and are not expected to increase the average estimated time for respondents to complete either version of the survey.
