Short Statement: AmeriCorps has adjusted its estimate of the number of respondents from 11,000 to 13,182 to reflect the increase in members who have been requesting forbearance since the last submission of this information collection. This results in an annual increase in estimated burden hours of 364 hours. The increase in cost burden due to agency adjustment in estimate is because the agency only recently started accounting for the cost to respondents based on hourly cost.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
