Abstract: Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are used to competitively and none competitively solicit proposals in response to NSF need for services. Impact will be on those individuals or organizations who elect to submit proposals in response to the RFP. Information gathered will be evaluated in light of NSF procurement requirements to determine who will be awarded a contract. NSF is requesting a reinstatement of this information collection to reflect the authority given in the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 (P.L. 117-167, section 10396 (42 U.S.C. 19116) to use "Other Transactions" in carrying out the activities of the Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP) Directorate.
