As required by Reese’s Law, to
eliminate or adequately reduce the risk of injury from ingestion of
button cell or coin batteries by children 6 years old and younger,
the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission proposes a rule to
establish performance requirements for button cell or coin
batteries.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
