Small Business Administration maintains the SBIR.GOV database (formerly Tech-Net) which collects information form small businesses (1) Company Registry-where firms register in the system as a prerequisite to applying with a proposal to one of the SBIR/STTR participation agencies; and (2) Commercialization Database-where firms provide information to document the commercialization development of their awarded technologies.

Recent Fiscal Years has seen an increase if the number of firms participating in the SBIR and STTR programs which increases utilization of the Company Registry.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
