Abstract: This rule section requires application for Special Emergency Road Service frequencies that are reserved for handicapped individuals to be accompanied by a physician's statement attesting to the applicant handicap. The Commission uses the data to determine the eligibility of the applicants to hold a radio station authorization for specific frequencies.

Short Statement: From the last submission to OMB, the Commission is reporting adjustments/decreases to the total number of respondents/total annual responses from 220 to 2 (-218) and the total annual burden hours from 155 to 1 hour (-154). We suspect that this dramatic decline is due, in part, to the growth/availability of other means of addressing this issue.
