Initiative Description: Employers or authorized representatives are required to examine the documents presented to complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification; this includes ensuring documents reasonably appear to be genuine and relate to the employee. The E-Verify tutorial modules will be updated for awareness of certain common indicators of fraud that may help employers in fulfilling their obligations during the Form I-9 process. These updates are being made as a result of the ICE I-9 Final Rule.
