Various reporting requirements
applicable to interconnected VoIP service providers that (1)
support the provision of location information to Public Safety
Answering Points, and (2) facilitate the E911 implementation
process by encouraging parties to communicate with each other early
in the implementation process, and to maintain a constructive,
on-going dialog throughout the implementation process.
The Commission is reporting
adjustments/decreases to this collection from the last submission
to OMB. The total number of respondents decreased from 72 to 29
(-43), the total annual responses decreased from 16,200,496 to
13,783,364 (-2,417,132), the total annual burden hours decreased
from 1,481,249 to 1,262,271 (-218,978), and the total annual cost
decreased from $238,890,000 to $202,992,000 (-$35,898,000) as a
result of reductions in total interconnected VoIP accounts and
registrations. There are no program changes to this
collection.
