eFiling is a CPSC initiative that modernizes how certificate data is processed by enabling importers of regulated consumer products to electronically file (eFile) certain data elements from a certificate of compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and CPSC, via a Partner Government Agency (PGA) Message Set.

Importers play an essential role in the success of the eFiling process through the oversight and filing of their data for testing in the Beta Pilot. Specific importer responsibilities are highlighted below:
