Topics for interviews and listening sessions

Correctional partners

Listening sessions and interviews will be semi-structured and will not include a formal set of questions asked to each respondent. Discussions will focus on the unique aspects of the correctional setting, involvement in food safety, current training opportunities, and preferred communications materials.

Topics:

  • Describe the role of correctional workers in food safety

  • Barriers to implementing food safety practices and policies in correctional settings

  • Supports of food safety in correctional settings

  • Training for correctional workers on food safety and preferred materials
