Abstract: Institutions need these collections of information to ensure that they conduct their operations in a safe and sound manner and in accordance with applicable federal banking law and regulations. The collections of information provide needed information for examiners and offer protections for institutions. The collections are necessary for regulatory and examination purposes and for national banks to ensure their compliance with federal law and regulations. This ICR is being submitted in connection with a final rule.

Emergency Justfication: Submitted an emergency extension request on February 26, 2024; however, OIRA did not have sufficient notice to prevent the collection from expiring. We published our 60-day Federal Register Notice on December 26, 2023, 88 FR 89026. We are currently awaiting the publication of the 30-day Federal Register Notice. An extension will ensure that we have adequate time to consider the comments received, issue our 30-day Federal Register Notice, and submit our ICR within 15 days of the expiration date.
