Short Statement: OSHA is requesting an adjustment decrease in burden hours from 40,041 to 22,697 hours, a total decrease of 17,344 hours. There was a decrease in the number of apartment and non-residential construction projects/sites that would use contractor engineering services for the required protective system design from 5,720 to 3,243. As a result, there was also a decrease in the overall cost to the respondent from $739,279 to $430,152, a difference of $309,127.
