Abstract: The Federal regulations governing the WIC Program (7 CFR part 246) require that certain program-related information be collected and that full and complete records concerning WIC operations are maintained. The information reporting and record-keeping burdens are necessary to ensure appropriate and efficient management of the WIC program.

Short Statement: This is a revision due to the ABFA rulemaking, titled, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC): Access to Baby Formula Act of 2022 Implementation (RIN 0584-AE94). As a result, overall information collection burden is estimated to increase by 7,398 burden hours and 105 responses annually due to program changes due to the rule.
