The NIST OAM team is planning Manufacturing USA's presence at IMTS 2024 , September
9-14, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois. We have reserved booth space in the Automation Hall (North
Building, Level 3) and are working with AMT on speaking opportunities and other activities.

the U.S. Department of Commerce (the Department), National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST) is requesting the information on this form.
AUTHORITY:
The collection of this information is authorized under The National Institute of Standards
and Technology Act, as amended, 15 U.S.C. 271 et seq. (which includes Title 15 U.S.C. 272
and 275) and section 12 of the Stevenson-Wydler Technology Innovation Act of 1980, as

PURPOSE:
NIST’s Advanced Manufacturing National Program Office (AMNPO) administers and
convenes the Manufacturing USA network, which consists of 17 manufacturing innovation
institutes. A major opportunity takes place every two years, the International
Manufacturing Trade Show (IMTS). This collection will allow AMNPO to gauge interest,
capacity, and current plans to participate in the upcoming IMTS show among
Manufacturing USA institutes so that we can appropriately coordinate the network’s
presence and allocate resources. It will also be used to collect information about
appropriate contacts. 
ROUTINE USES:
The information solicited on this form may be made available as a “routine use” pursuant
to 5 U.S.C. § 552a(a)(7) and (b)(3).  The information may be made available to other
federal agencies to assist the Department in connection with NIST’s management of the
purposes stated above; or for other authorized routine uses.
