Abstract: NIST established the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC) for Forensic Science to enable a coordinated U.S. approach to standards for the forensic science disciplines. NIST seeks broad participation from forensic science practitioners, researchers, metrologists, statisticians, accreditation bodes, defense, and prosecution. NIST solicits self-nominations from these communities, using the OSAC Membership Application, to identify individuals interested and qualified to contribute.
