Abstract: This clearance covers the information that contractors must submit to comply with the following FAR requirements: ● FAR 52.232-16, Progress Payments, and Standard Form (SF) 1443, Contractor’s Request for Progress Payment. Paragraph (g) of this FAR clause requires contractors to furnish reports, certificates, financial statements, and other pertinent information (including estimates to complete) reasonably requested by contracting officers for the administration of fixed-price contracts under which the Government will provide progress payments based on costs. Each request for progress payment shall be submitted on an SF 1443.

Short Statement: This extension includes adjustments to the public and Government burden estimates based on the following: ● The decrease in the estimated number of respondents and responses per year for FAR clause 52.232-16 is based on updated (FY23) data from FPDS and excluding commercial acquisitions from the data set. This clause is not included in acquisitions under FAR part 12. ● The estimated cost per hour is based on use of the current (calendar year 2024) OPM GS wage rates for the rest of the United States. ● Other estimates, including hours for response and review were left unchanged.
