OMB approved the impact and
implementation studies and instruments for the OPRE Study,
Supporting Youth to be Successful in Life (SYSIL) on July 27, 2021
(OMB #0970-0574). Baseline data collection with youth for the
impact study began in September 2021. Data collection for the
6-month and 12-month follow-up surveys began in April 2022 and
October 2022, respectively. The first round of check-in calls began
late 2022 and is complete. The second round of check-in calls began
February 2024 and is complete. The first round of interviews and
focus groups began May 2022 and is complete. OPRE is requesting
approval for proposed changes to the previously approved interview
and focus group protocols, as well as an additional round of
interviews and focus groups. The purpose of the proposed revisions
is to better understand staff and youth experiences in delivering
and receiving services. We are requesting three additional years of
approval of this study.
