Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 30 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. Collection of this information is authorized by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Pub. L. No. 116-260, approved December 27, 2020), Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (Pub. L. No. 117-103, approved March 15, 2022), Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (Pub. L. No. 117–328, approved December 29, 2022), Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (Pub. L. No. 118-42, approved March 9, 2024), and Section 502 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1970 (Pub. L. No. 91-609) (12 U.S.C. §§ 1701z-1; 1701z-2(d) and (g)). This information is being collected to assess program compliance and effectiveness. HUD intends to use this information for program compliance monitoring and research on program implementation, effectiveness, and impact, including grantee and tenant outcomes. This information is required to participate in the Eviction Protection Grant Program. HUD will not release any personally identifiable information pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act. This agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless that collection displays a valid OMB control number.

Item Discussion
1. Grant Program Launch and Reporting Plan In Section 1 of the HUD 52699, indicate the planned timeline for completing each program launch or reporting activity by marking the appropriate box(es) with an "X". Update Quarterly Comments with actuals achieved.
A. Hold Opening Meeting with HUD Must occur within the first quarter of the grant period of performance.
B. Establish Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) Grantee Users Must occur within the first quarter of the grant period of performance.
C. DRGR Action Plan Submitted and Accepted Must occur within the first quarter of the grant period of performance.
D. Establish Process for DRGR Vouchering Must occur within the first quarter of the grant period of performance.
E. Hire Staff Hiring new staff, contractors, or consultants to complete planned activites, as identified in the DRGR Action Plan.
F. Staff Development and Retention Activities Executing professional development, staff retention, or staff turnover activities.
G. Execute Subcontracts and Sub-Grants (if applicable) Executing subcontract(s) or sub-grant(s), as applicable.
H. Establish Internal Policies and Procedures Establishing internal policies and procedures for how the grant will be administered and how services will be implemented.
I. Integrate HUD 52698 Into Case Management Systems Integrating HUD 52698 data elements into case management system(s).
J. Procure Necessary Supplies, Materials, and Equipment Procuring necessary supplies, materials, and equipment.
K. Quarterly Performance Reports Submitted and Accepted Must occur each quarter of the grant period of performance.
