The information collection requirement
is necessary to support the collection of business points of
contact (POC) information from participants in the voluntary
Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cybersecurity program on a one-time
basis, with updates as necessary, to facilitate sharing of
unclassified and classified cyber threat information through
emails, teleconferences, meetings, and other program
activities.

Modernization Act of 2014
The overall respondent burden
has increased due to an estimated 10% of the eligible population
will elect to join the voluntary DIB CS Program, resulting in 8,000
participating companies in addition to those already participating
providing updated POC information.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and
(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control
number;
