Good Afternoon,
Under the leadership of Secretary Brooke Rollins, the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) is
committed to prioritizing timely and satisfactory customer service and clarifying program
requirements for our state agency partners. Accordingly, FNS is soliciting comments on a 60-Day
Federal Register Notice, 91 FR 13272, for the revision and renewal of information collections
used in the Food Distribution Programs. I am reaching out to your organization to ensure you are
aware of this notice and have the opportunity to provide comments.
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public
and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. This collection is
a revision of a currently approved collection of information relating to the reporting and
recordkeeping burden associated with the Food Distribution Programs.
Comments can be submitted through the Federal eRulemaking Portal. You can access the 60Day Federal Register notice at Federal Register: Agency Information Collection Activities:
Renewing Burden Number 0584-0293, and submitters can follow the online instructions for
submitting comments electronically. Comments may also be sent to: Gregory Walton, Food and
Nutrition Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1320 Braddock Place, 3rd Floor, Alexandria, VA
22314. Comments may also be submitted via email to [email protected].
Written comments must be received on or before May 18, 2026. All responses to this notice will
be summarized and included in the request for Office of Management and Budget approval of
this revised burden estimate. All comments will be a matter of public record.
