The Operational Challenges in Child
Nutrition Programs Survey (SY 2023-2024) solicits information from
SFAs about continued supply chain challenges, including vendor
issues, food costs, and labor costs, and ongoing impacts of the
2022 school year return to standard operations on school food
service and student participation during the beginning of the
2023-2024 school year.

This submission is a new
information collection request as a result of program changes and
will add 8,833.30 hours of burden to OMB’s inventory attributable
to 95,306 total annual responses.
