Abstract: Per the National Science Foundation Act of 1950, we are presenting plans for this necessary and legally required (42 U.S.C. 1862 (a)(5) collection of information. In accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, we have provided the opportunity for public comment on this action. After obtaining and considering public comment, NSF has prepared the following submission requesting Office of Management and Budget (OMB) clearance of this collection for no longer than three years. The evaluation seeks to consider the experiences of those leading and participating in the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program since the last full evaluation (which concluded in 2005), as well as current experiences, at ten select multi-institution alliance locations as case study sites.
