parties concerning the collection of
information described in Section A on
the following:
(1) Whether the proposed collection
of information is necessary for the
proper performance of the functions of
the agency, including whether the
information will have practical utility;
(2) The accuracy of the agency’s
estimate of the burden of the proposed
collection of information;
(3) Ways to enhance the quality,
utility, and clarity of the information to
be collected; and
(4) Ways to minimize the burden of
the collection of information on those
who are to respond; including the use
of appropriate automated collection
techniques or other forms of information
technology, e.g., permitting electronic
submission of responses.

initiative will include updated and
applicable policy, procedures, and
documentation that present the
structure of the HUD SCRM Program
and establish the guidance for
performing vendor supply chain risk
assessments. The HUD SCRM Program
enables the Department to implement
executive orders, legal authorities,
regulatory orders, and federal guidance
which includes a consistent process for
identifying supply chain risk in current
and future vendor relationships. As a
part of this Program, HUD will collect
information to evaluate the supply
chain risk management practices of its
current and prospective vendors
through a HUD SCRM Questionnaire.
