Terms of Clearance: There is potential overlap between this information collection and the U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP)’s collection. Before the next renewal, CDC should coordinate with CBP to identify opportunities to reduce duplication and respondent burden, including through the use of existing data or a joint collection approach, as appropriate. CDC should provide OMB with an update on these efforts within six months (by March 1, 2027). OMB and CDC will determine the cadence for any future updates following the March 1, 2027, update.

Abstract: The goal of this information collection is to facilitate a CDC public health mission as provided under the Public Health Service Act and Code of Federal Regulations. This Revision consolidates land travel-related public health information collections under one OMB control number, thereby improving efficiency of CDC’s land travel-related activities PRA submission process. It modifies current forms and add/deletes other forms which results in a burden change.
