This Information Collection Request is
for an extension with revision of the Uniform Project Description
(UPD) that the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) will
use as standard language to collect information from
Congressionally Directed Community Projects (CDCP) recipients. The
information is gathered to reduce risk and meet statutory and
regulatory requirements to allow award. The revisions for the
CDCP-UPD reflect simplification of the guidance, including
reduction and clarification. No new items have been added to the
instrument. We request 3 years of approval.

This request is for approval of
a revision and extension of an information collection. The CDCP-UPD
was streamlined and as a result, the estimated time per response
has decreased from 30 to 20 hours. The estimated number of
respondents has been adjusted to reflect the projected number of
respondents anticipated over the next three years.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification

(iii) Burden estimate;
