Abstract: According to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) data, as of July 2019, there were 16 RNHCIs in the United States. RNHCI facilities include those facilities as defined in section 1861(ss)(1) of the Social Security Act (hereinafter referred to as the Act) defines the term "Religious Nonmedical Health Care Institution" (RNHCI) and lists the requirements that a RNHCI must meet to be eligible for Medicare participation.

Short Statement: As shown in Table 7 above, the estimated annual burden hours to the industry decreased from 1,943 to 824 hours, a 58% decrease. The annual cost decreased from $79,998 to $38,113, a 52% decrease.
