Abstract: Prison Education Programs (PEP) is authorized under section 484(t) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA) with the requirements for participation outlined in 34 CFR 668, Subpart P. These are the regulatory requirements for a school to offer a PEP to confined or incarcerated students. This is a request for an extension without change for the application form from institutions that wish to participate in PEP under the regulations in 668, Subpart P. There have been no changes to the regulations.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).

The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
