Short Statement: Reinstatement with change, and the collection faced extenuating circumstances which resulted in the collection’s expiration before timely renewal. However, the 30-day Notice is being processed to reinstate the expired collection. Due to conditions in the mortgage banking industry, the HECM loan portfolio activity has been updated with new figures to represent the current activity. As a result of this activity a decrease in estimated annual burden hours and number of responses occurred. There are no substantive changes made to the forms.
