The proposed amendments would reduce the need for certain funds to file post-effective amendments on Form N-2. As a result, we estimate a reduction in the annual number of responses on Form N-2 from 298 to 275 (a reduction of 23 responses). We estimate corresponding reductions in annual burden hours and cost burdens. The estimated burden hours would decrease from 102,525 to 94,612 (a reduction of 7,913 hours). The estimated cost burden would decrease from $6,940,207 to $6,404,553 (a reduction of $535,654).
