TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: Administration for Children and Families 2026 RECS Emerging Scholars Mentoring Event: Registration Form
PURPOSE: This information collection is intended to provide information to the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) on interested mentors and mentees attending the Emerging Scholars Mentoring Event at the 2026 Research and Evaluation Conference on Self-Sufficiency (RECS). Specifically, ACF is interested in collecting demographic and mentor/mentee information of interested RECS attendees to inform mentor/mentee matching and group discussion at the 2026 RECS Emerging Scholars Mentoring Event.
The goal of the proposed information collection is to gather information about individuals interested in attending the 2026 RECS Emerging Scholars Mentoring Event in the current year (FY26). The form includes the following information fields: the respondent’s name, email address, mentor/mentee designation, organizational and/or institutional affiliation(s), department, position/title, social media accounts, a short biography, and preferred topics for mentoring group discussions. This information will allow ACF to match mentor/mentees and tailor group discussion to attendees’ preferences at the Emerging Scholars Mentoring Event at RECS.
The data collected and reported by the contractor to ACF will be descriptive in nature and will be used for internal planning purposes only. Form completion is voluntary.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS: Attendees at RECS (emerging/early career scholars, mid- and senior-level career professionals) who are interested in attending the Emerging Scholars Mentoring Event and engaging in discussions as a mentor or mentee.
