This information collection for the DS-260, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, was renewed recently with an expiration date of 5/31/2029.  The related emergency information collection for the DS-260G, Gold Visa Application, expires on 5/31/2026. 

The Department requests a non-substantive change to 1405-0185 to add the DS-260G to it as an additional instrument, effectively merging the two collections. The DS-260G instrument collects the same information as the recently revised DS-260 instrument, but it uses a separate platform that is interoperable with external agency partner systems. Thus, there is no additional burden to the public.
