Abstract: Investment companies offering schedule variable life insurance contracts are granted exemptions for certain provisions of the Investment Company Act of 1940 by Rule 6e-2. Investment companies offering scheduled variable life insurance contracts may file on Form N-6EI-1 a notification of claim of exemption from registration pursuant to Rule 6e-2 or 6e-3(T) under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
