15 USC 80a
Name of Law: Investment Company Act of 1940
The number of respondents to the information collection has decreased, which has resulted in decreases in the estimated annual time burden and cost burden. Specifically, the estimated time burden has decreased from 294,850 hours to 220,100 hours (a decrease of 74,750 hours). The estimated cost burden has decreased from $75,849,719 to $51,120,000 (a reduction of $24,729,719). The reduction in cost burden is attributed to both a decrease in the number of respondents and to correction of a typographical error in the last submission.
