Abstract: The 2026 Critical Suppliers Prize Competition will directly fund U.S.-based small businesses to provide non-dilutive capital towards restoring U.S. industrial supply chains. These funds would be used to refine, accelerate, and scale existing solutions (rather than drive research and development) and would be provided in the form of non-dilutive prize funding.

Emergency Justfication: See attached justification memo. The Small Business Administration (“SBA”) requests emergency processing under 5 CFR 1320.13 for a new Information Collection Request (“ICR”). SBA seeks emergency approval to collect information for the 2026 Critical Suppliers Prize Competition. This information is essential to distribute congressionally appropriated entrepreneurial development funding that expires on September 30, 2026.
