The National Institute of Justice (NIJ), in partnership with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, requests a revision of a currently approved collection, the Juvenile Facility Census Program (JFCP). Through this submission, NIJ is seeking approval to administer the 2027 JFCP between March 2027 and January 2029 under the current ICR approval (OMB Control No: 1121-0381, expires 01/31/2029).

This request seeks approval to administer the 2027 Juvenile Facility Census Program under the current ICR approval period. There are no changes to the average annual respondent burden hours or labor costs. However, administering another survey cycle will increase the overall burden.
