This is a request for revision of this generic data collection. The Environmental Health Specialists Network (EHS-Net) program conducts research designed to identify and understand environmental factors associated with foodborne illness and other food safety issues. The data are used to enable CDC to develop food safety prevention and intervention recommendations for environmental public health/food safety programs and the retail food establishment industry. The revision increases the number of restaurants and interviews, and added a restaurant observation to minimize potential bias of food workers and provide stronger power for analysis.
The latest form for Environmental Health Specialists Network (EHS-NET) Program expires 2021-08-31 and can be found here.
