This request is a new data collection to conduct case studies in six Head Start programs for the Head Start (HS) Connects: Individualizing and Connecting Families to Family Support Services project. HS Connects aims to develop and refine a theory of change of service coordination; describe how diverse Head Start programs coordinate family support services for parents/guardians; and understand the processes or practices sites use to ensure that service coordination is aligned with an individual family’s needs and fosters family well-being. Findings from the case studies are not intended to be generalized to a larger population. Information will be used to refine a theory of change model of Head Start service coordination that could inform future, representative data collection.
The latest form for OPRE Research Study: Head Start Connects: A Study of Family Support Services expires 2021-04-30 and can be found here.
