Identification of Imported Explosives Materials

Under U.S.C. 18, Section 847 ATF requires licensed importers of explosive materials to legibly mark all explosive materials manufactured for sale or distribution. The information is necessary to ensure that explosive materials can be effectively traced for criminal enforcement purposes.
