The purpose of this Standard and its information collection requirements is to provide protection for workers from adverse health effects associated with occupational exposure to MDA in the construction industry. Employers must monitor exposure, ensure worker exposures are within the permissible exposure limits, provide workers with medical examinations and training, and establish and maintain worker exposure-monitoring and medical records.
