Abstract: THE FORM SERVES AS A CONTROL DOCUMENT TO ASSURE THE EMPLOYER AS WELL AS THE VA THAT THE AMOUNT DUE IS CORRECT. IF ALL SUBMISSION ARE NOT IN AGREEMENT WHEN THE REMITTANCE IS RECEIVED, THE VA IS USALLY ABLE TO RECONSTRUCT WHAT HAS OCCURED, MAKE ANY NECESSARY CORRECTIONS, AND ADVISE THE EMPLOYER. VA FORM 4-800A IS PREPARED EACH MONTH BY EMPLOYERS WHO WISH TO PROVIDE A PAYROLL DEDUCTION SERVICE TO THEIR EMPLOYEES FOR GOVERNMENT LIFE INSURANCE
