THE SPECIAL MILK PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN
IS AUTHORIZED BY THE CHILD NUTRITION ACT OF 1966. THESE REGULATIONS
SET FORTH POLICY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROGRAM BY STATES,
SCHOOL FOOD AUTHORITIES, AND CHILD CARE INSTITUTIONS. REPORTING
REQUIREMENTS PERTAIN TO APPLICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION, REPORTING
AMOUNT OF MILK SERVED TO CHILDREN, AND PREPARATION OF MILK
REIMBURSEMENT CLAIMS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
