Abstract: THERE IS CREATED ON THE BOOKS OF THE TREASURY OF THE UNITED STATES A TRUST FUND KNOWN AS THE ABANDONED MINE RECLAMATION FUND WHICH IS ADMINISTERED BY THE SECRETARY OF INTERIOR. THE FUND CONSIST OF AMOUNTS DEPOSITED IN THE FUND FROM TIME TO TIME DERIVED FROM RECLAMATION FEES LEVIED UNDER SECTION 402 OF THE OFFICE OF SURFACE MINING CONTROL AND RECLAMATION ACT (P.L. 95-87). DATA DERIVED FROM THE FORM IS USED BY THE ABANDONED LANDS RECLAMATION
