Abstract: THIS REPORT COLLECTS INFORMATION FROM A SAMPLE OF COMMERCIAL BANKS ON THE AMOUNTS OUTSTANDING AND THE MOST COMMON INTEREST RATE PAID ON SELECTED CATEGORIES OF TIME AND SAVING DEPOSITS. THESE DATA ARE USED BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD TO ESTIMATE EHT MATURITY STRUCTURE AND RATE STRUCTURE OF TIME AND SAVINGS DEPOSITS AND TO DETERMINE RESPONSES TO INTEREST RATE CEILINGS UNDER REGULATION Q.
