We would like to receive progress reports on these efforts before this clearance expires. Specifically, we would like to know how feasible EPA feels it would be to phase out certification and SEA's in favor of in-use testing.

IT IS ALSO USED TO DETERMINE VEHICLE CONFIGURATIONS TO BE TESTED FOR CONFORMITY TO EMISSION STANDARDS DURING SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT AUDITS.
